The previous m/w I owned for almost 10 years; that Panasonic oven was the best m/w I have owned. Anyway, Best Buy was running this m/w on special (I can't remember specific price, but it was less than $100.00). We took it home, unpacked it, put the ring with wheels in the indentation on the floor of the m/w & the turntable on top of that. We put in a cup of water & boiled that. We use our m/w every day, several times a day, to reheat food & beverages, cook packaged frozen meals, sometimes pop popcorn. I assume most folks use their m/w's this way. It's just two of us, so I guess our useage would be average. It lasted several months & then just quit. We checeked the circuit breaker & there is also a paper shredder plugged into the same outlet - that was still working. Wouldn't you know! We were reheating our supper plates when that happened! I have not had a problem with it yet. Nothing has stopped or just quit on me yet. I do have it plugged into a surge protector which they say is critical for microwaves. I use it almost everyday and I'm pleased with it so far. I would recommend this to a friend. |
